THE CROWN INN
The Crown of South Moreton is a traditional country pub in the heart of South Oxfordshire.
Saved from developers in 2016, we are now community owned and locally run. We have recently been awarded Oxfordshire Pub of the Year, South Oxfordshire Cider Pub of the Year and Regional Runner-Up by CAMRA.
All our dishes are freshly prepared on site and we serve ales from some of South Oxfordshire's finest breweries.

The Crown is a popular destination for walkers, cyclists and horseriders with lots of routes around the area.
We are a dog friendly venue with treats, towels and water bowls available.
Families are welcome and we have a range of board and card games for everyone to enjoy.
Boasting a large and recently renovated beer garden for the spring and summer months, with wood burning stoves inside the bar and restaurant for colder evenings.

Absolutely fantastic so good we keep going back, staff are wonderful, roast dinner is fantastic, and the doggy dinner well our Steiff just loves it.

Stumbled across this place and decided to call in for dinner on a Monday evening. Although they were busy with quiz night a table was found for us. Good menu choice of traditional pub food. We ordered sausage & mash and beef wellington.The food was piping hot, well presented and very tasty. I was wary of ordering the beef wellington as I have been disappointed in the past but it was beautiful. A good well priced menu which is affordable for a mid week dinner, something pubs near where I live don't offer. I will definitely be back to sample the Sunday lunch.

Exceptional! We booked a very big family reunion (about 25 of us) and we couldn’t have chosen better.
We had a large, lovely room to ourselves, with a door out into a separate garden area.
The food was superb. I never expect much when you descend en masse, especially to a country pub, but they excelled themselves. Really top quality and plenty of it.
Finally, the service was top notch. Friendly, attentive and nothing too much trouble.
Honestly, this place is a bit of a gem!
